Mirabilia Little Stitches - Crescent Dreams

Sadly my only Mirabilia finish for 2013, this is my WIP and finish of Mirabilia - Crescent Dreams (LS4). This was stitched for a friend of mine who recently gave birth to a cute little boy on Christmas Eve 2013. Its still needs the baby's details and name to be attached underneath the stitching but I keep on forgetting to pick up a nice tag at Spotlight!

This was stitched on Silkweavers Hand Dyed Solo 28ct Cashel Linen. I absolutely love the dye job of this fabric which has a lovely satin sheen when view in person. Its a mix of brillant white, light blues, pinks and purples! As I didn't use all of it, I still have half a piece floating about which I'm pleased to have for another project.

My Mirabilia Collection 2014

I decided to take some snaps of my Mirabilia/Nora Corbett collection at the start of 2014. I'm pretty proud of my stash so far considering I started collecting in September 2013! I also have Seaside Kingdom on the way which I super excited to have gotten a hold of since its HTF and OOP :)

I've purchased sealable plastic bags to put each pattern in so it wont be damaged. A precaution when you have a toddler with a drink bottle ;)

I also have to admit I've ordered Nora's 2007 Christmas Tree with the doves in it, Faerie Winter Dream and Ophelia's Pearl

Fabric Delivery

Just had another delivery of beautiful fabric from Colour Cascade Fabrics(CCF) and Picture This Plus(PTP). The Colour Cascade Fabrics were order about 4 days ago so the turn around for my order was ridiculously speedy. I must admit Tammy for CCF has spoilt me in regards to quality and speed for my fabric fixes. The PTP fabrics that arrived are beautiful as well. All 32ct Opal Belfast Linen, I already have plans to stitch Sabrina by Mirabilia on Huntress and a Mirabilia mermaid on Mystic & Phantom. Sadly my Crystal Fog was slightly disappointing as I expected it to be a slightly stronger grey like the sample as Belfast Linen dyes the strongest out of fabric types/counts. Oh well.

The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery

I've just discover The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery Cross Stitch Charts by Amanda and Ashleigh. These are super cute PDF charts of various subjects in Japanese Kawaii Style. Sadly I insta caved when I browsed their site and purchase 4 of them immediately! Elements of Love, Drinks all Around, 2012 Dessert of the Month Club and Christmas on Gingerbread Lane all fell into my cart. Christmas on Gingerbread Lane is actually a 3 part Mystery SAL for November and has so far had Part 1 released. I'm just itching to start this but I sadly believe I'm missing a similar enough opal fabric from my stash to begin. Which is just as well considering I'm still working on L*K Holly & Hearts SAL, and my Mirabilia's that are on hold.
